Our Horses...

Nexavar aka "Nex"

  2006 Brown Quarter Horse Stallion

(Bully Bullion x Beautiful Dreams - Majors Meyers, Shawne Bug)

Nex spent this year tagging along to shows exhibitioning.  He joined us for the trip  to Murfreesboro, TN, for the ARHA World Show where the mares competed in barrels.  The stallion conformation (halter) class was the next day, so we decided to enter him and he WON it!  So, he is now a WORLD CHAMPION halter horse!  He is getting ready for the 2010 futurity season.  We will begin the end of December in South Carolina.  We are anxiously awaiting first foal crop which is due this spring.   Please look for more pictures and information under At Stud tab  at the top.

Hi Flyin Sign aka "Smoke"

  1999 Brown Quarter Horse mare

(Vital Sign x Decked For Cash - an own daughter of Dash For Cash)

Smoke is the first barrel horse I ever trained.  She has taught me soooo much!  Her accomplishments include top ten finishes at the AQHA Congress in the Sweepstakes and Junior Barrel racing as well as top five placings at the NYS finals and ARHA  World Championship shows  and many 1D winnings.

She is currently bred to our three year old stallion, Nexavar, for a 2010 foal.  We are still deciding if she will come back to barrel racing or raise another foal or two first.

Gold Liquidity aka "Ally"

2002 Brown Quarter Horse mare

(Bully Bullion x Miss Liquidity - an own daughter of First Down Dash)

Ally is a very special mare.  Her small size does not deter her at all in competing with the bigger boys.  She has finished in the top five  at the Colonial Nationals, AQHA World show, ARHA World show, and several major futurities in the US and Canada.  She currently holds the arena record at TWO  arenas.  Ally enjoys her job and will be competing at major events across the US and Canada this year.

Dazzling Doris aka "Dory"

2007 Bay Quarter Horse mare

(A Regal Choice x Hard Hearted Chick - Chicks Beduino)

Dory raced briefly as a two year old, then came home to NY.  She is currently trail riding and beginning ring work.  She will travel with us next year to exhibition, then compete in barrel racing  futurities in 2011.  Though she is very opinionated, she may be one of the most athletic  2 year olds I have had the privilege of riding.

Classy Bars Affair aka "Jimmy"

Jimmy is one of our wonderful lesson horses.   He is retired from a successful career as an english and western show horse.    His slooooow western jog is smooth enough for the most green beginner to enjoy, and his rocking horse lope is great for building confidence.

Thanks to good friend Jim Barton for sharing this fantastic horse with us.

Hunk Of Cash aka "Cash"

2000 Brown Appaloosa gelding

Roll The Cash x Brick School House

This big 16.3 hand high gelding is another fantastic lesson horse.  He had an outstanding career as a hunt seat horse, earning his ROMs and Top Ten Year ends in Junior and 3 Year Old Hunter Under Saddle, Driving, Hunter in Hand, Hunter Hack, and Trail.  He now specializes in teaching our beginner and intermediate lessons. Special thanks to Colleen O'Neil for sharing your wonderful boy with us!

DGR Smooth Mr Luck aka "Pension"

2000 Sorrel Quarter Horse gelding

Pension is our third fabulous lesson horse.  He has the widest range of abilities, happily taking excellent care of beginner riders or challenging the more advanced riders.

Special thanks to Dave O'Neil for sharing your sweet, safe, and reliable horse with us!

Favorite Task aka "Task"

Special Task x Cash Perks       (Cash Perks is a full sister to Dash For Perks)

Task is one of our broodmares. She is the mother of several of our race and barrel horses, including Run Donnie Run, Truly A Favorite, Storm On In, and Norman’s Favorite. She raced a bit as a two year old, but was retired following a race injury. She is bred for a March foal by Corona For Me.

Truly A Favorite aka "J Lo"

2003 Sorrel Quarter Horse Mare

Favorite Task x Truly First Class

J Lo is retiring this year from a very successful career as a race horse. Mike is currently working with her on barrel racing, and she is making great progress. Watch for her this year at local and regional NBHA shows.

Norman's Favorite aka "Normy"

2007 Brown Quarter Horse Gelding

General Stormin Norman x Favorite Task

Norman is as sweet as they come. He could go back to racing this year - he has lots of eligibilities as he has not broken his maiden yet, but he has never been out of the money! He would also be happy to go on to a second career as a hunter. He is already 16 hands high and will walk trot and canter with a simple lead change and trail ride.  Normy is for sale for $4000.

 Cruisin Corona aka "AC"

2008 Sorrel Quarter Horse Mare

The Carona x Dreaming Apollo Style

AC is going to be two years old.  Her sire is by the great race horse Carona Cartel (SI 101) and her dam is by Apollo (Tb). Her mother had an 89 SI so we have high hopes for this filly to make a great race horse.  She is getting broke and will be heading out to Michigan to begin her race career.
